Business Analyst – Global Financial Services
Location: Dublin (Hybrid, 2 days WFH)

Opportunity
A global financial institution is seeking a Business Analyst to support operations and technology teams. This role offers the chance to work on requirements gathering, process improvement, and data analysis while shaping solutions that enhance efficiency across financial services.
Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis
Create BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and process flows
Analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
Map current and future-state processes to identify improvements
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
Support testing activities and document defects
Provide reporting and presentations for decision-making
Requirements
Previous Business Analyst or similar experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
Understanding of financial operations (e.g. settlements, reconciliations, payments)
Awareness of Agile methodologies / ceremonies
SQL or other data analysis tools (e.g. MS Access, macros, pivot tables) desirable
